Google Analytics Benchmark will tell you that your site stinks!

In all fairness, it tells you that you don’t stink too.

Lead Generation Methods that Enhance User Experience

How would you feel if you went into a restaurant and before you were allowed to sit you had to give the hostess your name, email address, street address, phone number, company name, how much you earn, and every other piece of personal information just short of your social security number and bank accounts?  All this information before you even have a chance to try the food.  Personally, I would leave. 

So why do we tolerate websites that demand lengthy registration forms before letting us try their service.  I say it is time to stop!

Cloud Computing…the New Electricity

It has been said that cloud computing for today’s companies is the equivalent to the electricity grid for companies a century ago.  Once companies no longer had to produce their own power they were able to focus their resources in other, more valuable places.  The same goes for cloud computing.  Companies no longer have to produce their own software…everything they need can be bought and used via “the cloud.”  Read On

MySpace is Failing Your Company…This is Why

Most companies have a standard website these days and the follow the basic rules when it comes to web design.  Three of the basic rules are as follows: easy to read, easy to navigate, and consistent layout/design.  MySpace, for some reason, does not follow any of these.  For those of you that continue to have only a MySpace page for your company, I beg of you, please stop.
