Bernoff and Li are clearly fans of technology, I can’t imagine too many of the analysts there are luddites, but this book is not a gee whiz “look how cool this technology is” sort of book. Quite the opposite actually, it helps to illustrate the connection between a variety of technologies (blogs, wikis…), human behavior and organizational structure.

The MITX Technology Awards
In the immediate aftermath of the June 3rd MITX Technology Awards program, I intended to write a post reflecting on how invigorating I find it to both participate (I was the co-chair of this event), but even more importantly, to attend this event.
Measuring Site Traffic: Alexa and Compete.com

Have you Considered Creating a Podcast?
Blogs are great traffic drivers, both for links and acquiring new visitors. But after awhile, they can get stale. Maybe those who post aren’t enjoying the writing process. Or they would rather use another medium for expressing their thoughts. Enter:podcasting. Read On
How to Determine Potential Keyword Traffic
When working on a search engine marketing campaign, one of the most difficult areas is determining the keywords that you plan on targeting. You don’t want to be too general, such as trying to acquire a #1 ranking for “clothing” when your site only focuses on attire for big and tall men. Or are you only worried about very long phrases, which don’t drive any traffic. Either way, the Google Keyword Tool can provide you with an excellent assessment of potential traffic for a list of keywords, and even offers suggestions for alternatives you may not have thought of. This can help with getting started in both an organic (SEO) campaign as well as pay-per-click ads, with Google AdWords or Yahoo! Sponsored Search.
