The Inc. 5000 is a listing of the fastest-growing and most entrepreneurial companies in the United States. This year, we were ranked #44 in the Boston metro area, up over 40 places from last year! It’s hard to believe that it’s already mid-August. The summer has been flying by at Boston Interactive, as we’ve been busy launching about a dozen websites over the last few months. Here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to.

Rockland Trust, a sole bank subsidiary of independent Bank Corp. (NASDAQ: INDB) has been in business for over 100 years and is the largest publicly traded bank headquartered in Massachusetts, with over $4.5 billion in assets. Boston Interactive created a new website for Rockland Trust that conveys both the bank’s financial strength and its commitment to personal relationships with its customers and communities. The new site is easy to use and offers intuitive navigation, reinforcing Rockland Trust’s customer-focused mission.
Earlier this week, winners of the 2010 Webby Awards were announced. This year, in addition to the regular award, there was a People’s Voice Award for each category, which went to the entry that received the most online votes.
Boston Interactive is proud to announce that the website we built for the ASPCA received the most online votes and was awarded the People’s Voice Webby.
We’re proud to announce that Boston Interactive has been named the 10th fastest-growing private company in Massachusetts by Boston Business Journal Pacesetters list. Winners were announced last week at an awards breakfast, held at the Westin Copley Place in Boston. The annual Pacesetters award recognizes the region’s fastest-growing private companies in a variety of business sectors. Companies were selected based on revenue growth between 2006 and 2009.
